“How did this happen to me?”
Number one question that every Parkie has to face… how or why did I get Parkinson’s disease? I think you just try to enjoy each day and live it like its your last. That’s the popular thing to say but, obviously harder to do than said. I do think that is definitely the right direction of thinking. Enjoy every day you can. Live to the fullest. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Do your best to not dwell on the negatives and as Perky Parkie says, be thankful and enjoy what you do have and can do.

Hi Perky Parkie,
I think these are all great questions, but for me there is one that is missing.
Do I have to be alone and I do not mean friends or is there someone out there that I can share my PD life with who truly understands my condition?
I feel we all need; PD or not, to feel special, important, needed and wanted by someone in our lives but friends can only fulfill so much of those needs.
Great post as always, you are truly an amazing woman.
CHEERS!!!!!!
