Well it happened. I have offically passed the 1,000 mark. I know it might be a small goal for others but for me, this was huge. Today, I have over 1,000 people who have chosen to be part of the cool club and subscribed to my blog.

From my first blog posted in April of 2013, (80% Threshold in Parkinson’s disease) I didn’t anticipate how many people it would reach. Every week, I get messages and comments from all over the world. And I love hearing from each and everyone of you…it might even be bettter than a eating fro yo straight out ot the machine. I had no clue just how many of you found a platform to share your experiences or questions. That you found inspiration by the words I type.

To top off this awesome week… I was contacted by Healthline who has named The Perky Parkie as a top blog for Parkinson’s disease. You can’t see it, but I am doing my happy dance right now… I’m honored to be among the very talented, informative and creative blogs mentioned.

Be sure to check out the whole list here at Healthline: Top Parkinson’s Blogs.
Thank you again to all my readers and if you still havent subscribed to my blog… I forgive you. Click here to subscribe… now.
You may not see it yet, but your journey has led many to become advocates in their own community. This is essential to wellness and self worth. I encourage you to continue, and pave the way !
Awwww, thank you, Annie! What a sweet message!
Super impressive! I was just about to tell you how awesome I think you are when this popped up. You helped me through some difficult times and even though I am mostly recovered, I still continue to read and enjoy your thoughts. Parkinsons-like symptoms after concussion that somehow went from severe to infrequent. Looking forward to your next post!
